Members of Australia and New Zealand’s space, spatial and surveying community are being encouraged to take part in the Diversity Council Australia’s Inclusion@Work Index survey.

The Index will help to establish a baseline to understand the current state of diversity and inclusion within the sector.

It is unknown how many people work in the space, spatial and surveying sectors, but it has been estimated there are as many as 25,000 professionals spread across the two countries.

That’s why the Surveying & Spatial Sciences Institute (SSSI) is encouraging everyone who works, studies or participates in any other way in the space, spatial or surveying sector to complete the Index questionnaire.

From it, a public report will be developed that will provide an evidence base for the industry to understand key trends and opportunities to promote inclusive workplaces.

The report will be released towards the end of 2021.

The questionnaire will be open until 14 September 2021 and should take no more than 15 minutes to complete.

Queries can be directed to diversity@agenda2026.com.
