Richard Higgins brings 20-plus years’ experience in engineering, cadastral and land development surveying.

Colliers Engineering & Design has appointed Richard Higgins as Director, Survey strengthening its surveying capability in New South Wales and adding more than two decades of technical, commercial and industry experience to the team.

Based in Sydney, Higgins has experience across construction, engineering, cadastral and land development surveying.

Previously, Higgins spent almost 16 years as director of Higgins Surveyors before moving into the geospatial technology sector to hold senior account management roles with BuildingPoint Australia and UPG.

“Surveying is continuing to evolve alongside technology and there is a real opportunity to combine strong technical capability with smarter, technology-enabled solutions to deliver better outcomes for clients,” said Higgins.

“I’m looking forward to working with the team, building strong client relationships and contributing to the continued growth of Colliers’ survey business.”
