RPAS in Australia Skies is back for 2023. The conference is the Australian Association for Uncrewed Systems’ (AAUS) main event for the year and has established itself as a landmark event for the Australian drone industry, drawing interest from key government personnel, representatives from the regulatory and safety bodies, defence force, RPAS and UTM representatives, end users and academia.
The hybrid event will take place over two days and will include a combination of presentations and interactive panel discussions.

SmartSat partners, participants, students and staff are invited to come together to share their research outcomes and network with industry colleagues at the SmartSat CRC Conference 2023.
The SmartSat CRC is a consortium of universities and other research organisations, partnered with industry that has been funded by the Australian Government to develop know-how and technologies in advanced telecommunications and IoT connectivity, intelligent satellite systems and Earth observation next generation data services.

The Indo-Pacific Space & Earth Conference will delve into technologies that can be applied both on Earth and in space — from AI and robotics to remote operations. All industries from mining, oil and gas, agriculture, medicine and more can benefit from investing resources into these technologies.

The Geospatial Council of Australia’s Western Australia Digital Twin Summit will be held on 15 November 2023.
The event will focus on Spatial Digital Twins, and attendees will hear the latest developments in this rapidly developing space from government, academia and private industry presenters.
The WA Asia-Pacific Spatial Excellence Awards dinner will also be held in conjunction with the conference, celebrating the outstanding work being undertaken across the region.

The Institute of Navigation’s (ION) mid-year meeting, the International Technical Meeting (ITM), is a conference with a technical program related to positioning, navigation and timing and includes the ION Fellows and Annual Awards presentations.
In 2024, ITM will take place in Long Beach, California, January 22 – 25, 2024, and will be co-located with the Precise Time and Time Interval Systems and Applications Meeting.
A commercial exhibition and pre-conference tutorials will be held in conjunction with the conference.
The Institute of Navigation’s (ION) annual Precise Time and Time Interval Systems and Applications (PTTI) meeting will take place in Long Beach, California, January 22-25, 2024, and will be co-located with the ION International Technical Meeting.
The PTTI technical program is designed to:
- Disseminate and coordinate PTTI information at the user level
- Review present and future PTTI requirements
- Inform government and industry engineers, technicians, and managers of precise time and frequency technology and its problems, and

The second Advancing Earth Observation Forum will be held at the Adelaide Convention Centre. The five-day event will attract delegates across a broad spectrum of applications, sensors and interests, including industry, research, defence, government, students and end-users.
The biennial Forum was created to enable the Earth observation (EO) community to communicate, coordinate, collaborate and collectively assess the state of EO in the Australian and Asia-Pacific region.
AEO24 will build on the momentum generated at the inaugural AEO Forum held in Brisbane in 2022, bringing together all sectors involved in EO to propel the sector forward to meet the growing international demand for EO.
The 9th International Colloquium on Scientific and Fundamental Aspects of GNSS will bring together members of the European scientific community and their international partners involved in the use of Galileo and other GNSS in their research.
The colloquium will address several major areas of research:
- Scientific applications in meteorology, geodesy, geodynamics, geophysics, space physics, oceanography, land surface and ecosystem studies.
