The AEGC petroleum, mineral and water resource industry conference, incorporating the ASEG-PESA International Geophysical Conference and Exhibition, will be jointly hosted by the Australian Institute of Geoscientists (AIG), Australian Society of Exploration Geophysicists (ASEG) and Petroleum Exploration Society of Australia (PESA).
Under the conference theme of Geoscience for a Sustainable World, the AEGC will attract a large number of international and national delegates and organisations from across the spectrum of Australasian geosciences, representing industry, government and academia. It is expected there will be dedicated streams for Australian basins, resourcing a sustainable energy challenge, data, innovation and technology, high-quality resources for future generations and developing the future workforce.
The Australasian Hydrographic Society’s HydroSpatial2021 Conference will focus on how hydrography will develop in the future, noting the development of ‘digital twinning’ and the emerging name variants for hydrography such as ‘hydrospatial’ or ‘hydrogeomatics’.
The conference theme, Hydrography of the Future, morphs two modern yet wide-ranging aspects of the hydrographic surveying profession, and should draw papers from relevant scientific, technological, operational and environmental communities. UPDATE, 27 January 2022: Montgomery Asia, the organiser of Geo Connect Asia, has announced new dates for the Show and Conference, which had been scheduled for 23 and 24 March 2022. The event will now be held across 1 and 2 June 2022 at the Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention Centre, Singapore.

The 2023 Victorian Geospatial Conference & Awards Dinner be an opportunity for Victorian professionals of all geospatial disciplines to come together to learn, connect and share, and also celebrate local excellence with the awards dinner in the evening.
This year’s program will feature three concurrent streams covering GIS, data, cadastral surveying, digital twins, remote sensing and more.
The Victorian Geospatial Excellence Awards dinner will take place from 6.00pm, immediately following the conference.

INTERGEO returns for 2023 with the motto, ‘Inspiration for a smarter world,’ with the event this year also incorporating the German Cartography Congress.
The conference and exhibition will cover the topics of geoinformation, geodesy, land management, Earth observation, urban planning, disaster prevention, environmental protection and energy efficiency, while tackling challenges such as the climate crisis, urbanisation and securing resources.
This year, there will be a special emphasis on drone technologies and BIM.
The 2024 Victorian Geospatial Conference will be a dive deep into the latest technologies, trends, and best practices shaping the geospatial sector in Australia. The event will conclude with the 2024 Victorian Geospatial Excellence Awards ceremony, to be held at the River’s Edge Events venue, directly across the Yarra River from the Convention Centre.
