The National Surveying Congress will be an opportunity for leaders in the surveying profession to discuss the opportunities and challenges facing the profession. The 2022 Congress theme is ‘Automatic Mutual Relaxation’.
As the profession comes to understand the impact of Automatic Mutual Recognition for surveyors across the country, the event will provide an opportunity for surveyors from across Australia to gather and discuss the issues facing the profession and the opportunities for the future. The highlight of the program each year is the Cadastral Leaders Panel which sees all the Surveyors-General on stage speaking about changes and opportunities in their states and territories as well as an update from ICSM and ANZLIC. There will also be an online option.
The National Surveying Consultancy Excellence Awards and Gala Dinner will be held on the second day of the event, 23 June 2022.
Smart Cities Week Australia and New Zealand 2022 will bring together the who’s-who in smart cities, digital twins and future-of-place thought leadership in an energising, open dialogue on how to leverage technology to deliver better quality of life for citizens.
Smart Cities Week offers sessions designed to bring demand and supply side stakeholders together in a way that incubates business opportunities and incubates the smart cities investment pipeline.
This year, the event will be delivered in conjunction with Digital Twin Week, known as the premier platform for showcasing, exchanging and networking around all things Digital Twin in the built and natural environment. The event will offer a series of opportunities to connect and gain information and insights on Digital Twin activity, policy and practice from government and industry leaders.

The 2022 SSSI Victorian Surveying & Spatial Summit and APSEA-V Dinner will take place on Thursday, 27 October 2022. It will be an opportunity for all Victorian surveying and spatial professionals to come together to learn, share and connect.
The event will feature an array of speakers, along with plenty of networking opportunities and the chance to see the latest products and services from local suppliers.

The 2023 Victorian Geospatial Conference & Awards Dinner be an opportunity for Victorian professionals of all geospatial disciplines to come together to learn, connect and share, and also celebrate local excellence with the awards dinner in the evening.
This year’s program will feature three concurrent streams covering GIS, data, cadastral surveying, digital twins, remote sensing and more.
The Victorian Geospatial Excellence Awards dinner will take place from 6.00pm, immediately following the conference.

Each year representatives from the Association of Consulting Surveyors NSW and the Institution of Surveyors NSW come together to organise the NSW Excellence in Surveying and Spatial Information (EISSI) Awards.
The awards recognise the achievements of organisations and individuals from across the state who are engaged in the surveying and spatial information profession; celebrate excellence before an audience of industry peers; encourage activities that create a stronger, larger and more relevant industry; and embrace the achievements of the industry and its related industries and professions.
GeoSmart India returns in 2023 for its 23rd iteration, with a theme of ‘Geospatial Infrastructure and Digital Twins: Powering National Economy’.
This year, the focus will be on strengthening India’s ambition of becoming a trillion-dollar economy. Geospatial infrastructure and digital twins will play a pivotal role in empowering the nation’s economy, enabling measurement of what can be seen in order to make better decisions across all major sectors.

BeGeo, an initiative of the Belgian National Geographical Institute (NGI), is an annual national event for the geo sector in Belgium.
The BeGeo conference combines with a geographic information fair to bring together a wide range of players from the public sector, academia, research, the private sector and associations. This year, the organisers have once again chosen Brussels Expo as the location for the event.
BeGeo says its vision is to be a platform where important players from the sector meet and thus actively contribute to the growth of the knowledge and competences necessary to tackle complex challenges and realise the great potential of geodata.
The New Zealand: Digital Twin 2024 Summit will explore the roadmap of digital twin systems and their impact on each stage of a project, and explore the core values, challenges and opportunities unique to the priorities of New Zealand and how digital twins can deliver them.

The 2024 Victorian Geospatial Conference will be a dive deep into the latest technologies, trends, and best practices shaping the geospatial sector in Australia. The event will give professionals ranging from GIS specialists to remote sensing experts the chance to gain valuable insights and forge new partnerships.
The event will conclude with the 2024 Victorian Geospatial Excellence Awards ceremony, to be held at the River’s Edge Events venue, directly across the Yarra River from the Convention Centre. The awards will celebrate achievements and innovations by individuals and organisations within Victoria’s geospatial sector.
