In response to the United States government’s decision to legalise same-sex marriage, Vox published the above map, showing all the countries that have passed similar laws to date.

Uber also hopped on the gay pride float, by adding a touch of rainbow in their mobile maps.

Driverless car technology is edging forward every week. It can be argued what’s really holding it back more than anything is mapping. Well, Here blog shared an article showing how driverless cars might solve this problem themselves, simply by mapping the very streets they drive on.

This incredibly detailed map out of Germany showing population growth over all of Europe has been doing the rounds all over the internet. Its detail is daunting, but thankfully the fine folk at CityLab has analysed it for us.
