ArcGIS Guide

By on 13 May, 2010

A new reference guide from ESRI Press will help overcome problems in aligning disparate map projections with GIS technology.

Designed for beginning and advanced ArcGIS practitioners, Lining UpData in ArcGIS: A Guide to Map Projections offers techniques for identifying and creating accurate map projections and co-ordinate systems. The content ranges from procedures to identify unknown map projections to the creation of custom projections for unique data alignment.

Author Margaret M. Maher is a data projection and conversion specialist in ESRI's support services department.

The guide is available at www.esri.com/esripress and other online retailers.
