Aptella has announced local availability of the new Zoller + Fröhlich IMAGER 5024 series 3D laser scanner units.

Zoller + Fröhlich (Z+F), a German company, claims the IMAGER 5024 series reduces scanning time by up to 50% compared with previous models, and comes with modular options to suit a range of applications and budgets.

Three models are available, and customers have the option to upgrade their unit at any time to suit evolving business or project needs.

All three new models are fully compatible with the Z+F FlexScan 22 software, and data from mobile SLAM scans can be easily combined with static scan data to further improve the accuracy of the SLAM data.

According to Z+F, together, the IMAGER 5024 series and FlexScan 22 form a high-precision mobile surveying system that enables exceptional accuracy in mobile scanning.

Zoller + Fröhlich has also released a new wide-angle camera called TopCam, which is designed to generate colour data in combination with the IMAGER 5024 series. TopCam captures colour information up to 12 times faster than the previous i-Cam.

Aptella is Z+F’s local distributor, and provides sales and technical support across Australia, New Zealand and Southeast Asia.
