Applications are now open for the 2023 Geospatial Council of Australia Mentoring Program, which aims to support and guide young professionals to develop their skills and knowledge and achieve their career goals.
The program offers an opportunity to connect mentees with mentors who can provide valuable career insights and advice.
Professionals of all levels, experience and backgrounds can take part as either a mentor or mentee and can come from any part of the geospatial sector.
Mentors should be experienced professionals who are passionate about sharing their expertise and helping the next generation of leaders in our industry.
Mentees can be students or anyone else who is looking to advance their career or develop specific skills.
Applications are open only to those living in the Asia Pacific region, and applicants must commit to at least five hours involvement over the course of the three-month program.
For successful applicants, participation is free they are individual members of the Geospatial Council or an employee of a member organisation. Non-members will be charged a fee of $55 to help cover administration costs.
