ANZ Foundation Spatial Data Framework released for comment

Through the Australian Government’s Office of Spatial Policy, ANZLIC has released a document describing ten spatial data themes that form the foundation of the authoritative geographic layers of an Australian and New Zealand Foundation Spatial Data Framework.
 
The Office of Spatial Policy is seeking written comments on the data themes contained in the document.
Please send your feedback to the Office of Spatial Policy no later than Monday 17th December.

The purpose of the document is to describe a national approach to managing government spatial information. The intended audience is the spatial information user community including government, industry, research and academic sectors as well as the interested public.
 
The document is presented by ANZLIC—the Spatial Information Council, representing the Australian and New Zealand Governments, and the governments of the States and Territories of Australia.
