Australia's largest fire and emergency services conference, AFAC2012 (see afac2012.org) will once again be hosting a full day professional development program on the latest application of Spatial technologies throughout Australia's Emergency management organisations in Perth.
Coordinator for the event, Steve Forbes (Manager Spatial Services for the ACT Emergency Services Agency) said "this exciting development program, now in its 5th year, is hosted by the industry coordinating body for Spatial and location technologies in Emergency Management, EMSINA (Emergency Management Spatial Information Network Australia, see http://emsina.net/).
"The event will take place on 31st August at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre. We strongly encourage anyone who works within or with Australia's emergency management organisations come along."
The day will finish with a panel discussion or the future directions for the application of Spatial Technologies in Australia's emergency management space.
