8 August: DNRM1303; Surveying Services [Pre-qualified Supplier Arrangement];  Department of Natural Resources and Mines, Qld. DNRM is seeking offers from suppliers who want to enter into an arrangement for the provision of professional and timely surveying services in North Queensland. This will include the provision of cadastral surveying (and associated contour and detail surveys) and the preparation of survey plans suitable for lodgement in the department’s Land Registry.

12 August: RMS.13.2998.1550; Maintenance Contestability of Intelligent Transport Systems; Roads and Maritime Services, NSW. The NSW Government is examining the potential for greater contestability in the provision of road maintenance, including Intelligent Transport Systems in the Sydney region.

RMS is now seeking written submissions from experienced industry organisations to better understand the market issues, industry capability and capacity.

13 August: 4521; Aerial Survey; Department of Conservation, NZ Tenders are sought for an aerial survey of Salvin’s albatross at the Bounty Islands. This project forms part of the Conservation Services Programme. The services are to estimate the population size of the albatross.

27 August: 13-904; State Highways Automated Data Collection; New Zealand Transport Agency. NZTA carries out various condition surveys of the State Highway network. These specifically include: SCRIM and high speed (texture, roughness, etc.) surveys; and strength surveys using falling weight deflectometer.

NZTA appoints separate contractors to achieve the above surveys; it seeks a MSQA consultant to assist with management of these surveys.

28 August: 1213-042; Long Term Intervention  Monitoring Project; Department of Sustainability, Environment, Water, Population and Communities [Aust].  The Commonwealth Environmental Water Office seeks providers to develop and implement five year Monitoring and Evaluation Plans that examine the ecological response to Commonwealth environmental water delivery at five areas within the Murray Darling Basin.
