The Queensland Government is seeking Proposals from suitably qualified level GE1 geotechnical consultant for GEOTECHNICAL INVESTIGATION  at Lagoon Ck and Sugarshed Road, for the Mackay Ring Road, MWD 6-16 Project. This will improve our understanding of the ground conditions for the design of foundations for a number of the bridge piers and abutments on this Project. Depending on requirements these goods / services specifically include geotechnical drilling, sampling and laboratory testing and reporting.

15 February: DSR0316; State Sporting Facilities – Asset Management Plans. Department of Sport and Recreation. Western Australia.

The purpose of this document is to provide an overview, methodology and scope for the development of Asset Management Plans and 20 year CAPEX reports.

The aim of the project is to:

  • Provide the State Government and State Sporting Associations an understanding of the current level of their facilities, the required maintenance of the facility and costs associated in maintaining their facility at an optimum level over the next 20 years.
  • The information gathered within the plans will be used to inform Strategic Asset Plans and State Government investment decision.

The data developed and contained within the completed reports will be used to inform Strategic Asset Planning (SAP) and State Government investment decision.

The department has identified up to ten facilities requiring new and or updated Asset Management Plans.

The Urban Passenger Electrified Rail System in the Metropolitan area including the Armadale to Mundijong and Fremantle to Robbs Jetty sections form the Public Transport Authority’s (PTA’s)electrified railway network. This Contract is for the provision of ultrasonic testing of rail within the urban rail network.
