The New Zealand Transport Agency (NZTA) is seeking to procure a Road Network Dataset.

We are seeking the ongoing supply of a road network dataset that closer aligns its reference geospatial data to our business needs and represents value for money. The dataset will comprise of a physical description of the road network and will allow for routing/network analysis to be performed using a connected network model.

The dataset must also supply, at least, the mandatory attributes, spatial representation and non-functional requirements as described in the impending RFP which will be released late May 2015.

3 June: DP101215; Social Analysis for Perth and Peel region. Department of Planning, Western Australia.

The Department of Planning is seeking the services of a suitably qualified consultant to provide a strategic assessment of the social issues, attitudes and trends that will influence future planning and the development of policy in the Perth and Peel regions. This project will include:

  • a baseline assessment of the key contemporary social issues and attitudes that currently affect planning for urban growth that is compact, accessible and connected;
  • the identification and prediction of emerging trends that will influence social change in Perth and Peel;
  • a gap analysis to determine if and how current strategic planning and policy development for Perth and Peel responds to the contemporary and emerging social issues; and
  • recommended approaches to responding to the emerging trends in Perth and Peel through the Western Australian land use planning system.

9 June: TPD-15-4302; Sutherland to Cronulla Active Transport Link (SCATL) – Engineering and Urban Design Services Advisor, Transport for NSW.

Sutherland to Cronulla Active Transport Link (SCATL) is a mixed usage transport link for pedestrians, cyclists and other non-motorised forms of transport. TfNSW requires the services of an Engineering and Urban Design Services Advisor to prepare the scoping and definition design for the SCATL project.

9 June: DTIRIS15/290; Riparian and Aquatic Health Monitoring Project. Catchment Management Authority, NSW.

The successful contractor would be required to undertake the implementation of the Monitoring, Evaluation, Reporting and Improving approach (MERI) detailed in the Monitoring Outcomes from Murray Local Land Services Riparian Interventions: Plan and Year 1 Pilot (2015). Developed by the Arthur Rylah Institute for Environmental Research.

As part of the contractors quote there will be a requirement to clearly identify the recommendations and research portfolio questions to be addressed within the three year contract to June 2018

The ATO requires a panel of suitably qualified and experienced organisations to conduct or support a broad range of research activities with staff and the public. The panel will encompass a diverse set of providers including commercial research organisations, academic institutions, and smaller specialist providers.

To design and carry out a research project that will provide repeat monitoring of established long-term subtidal monitoring sites in the Fiordland (Te Moana o Atawhenua) Marine Area, thereby providing data for selected objectives of the overall monitoring plan for the FMA.
