Hearing some of the fundamentals of marketing at their recent annual conference in New Plymouth gave New Zealand Institute of Surveyors (NZIS) members a taste of what their latest diamond sponsor can offer.

In a presentation to conference delegates, Ambrose Blowfield, director of THE Marketing Company provided an insight into key marketing activities that can help grow business.

As part of the Institute’s commercial development programme, THE Marketing Company has joined NZIS as their latest Diamond Partner. The NZIS Diamond Partnership is the highest level of commercial partnership – it will mean that members will not only have access to Australasia’s leading specialist sales and marketing company but they can also complete a marketing capability test and benefit from one of THE Marketing Company’s sales and marketing diagnostic assessments for free.

“The opportunity to work with an organisation as prestigious as the NZIS is an exciting one for us,” said Ambrose Blowfield. “There’s no doubt that many members are leaders in their specialisation, but some struggle with promoting their expertise or developing their business skills. As a service-based company ourselves, we know the challenge of staying proactive in your sales and marketing ongoing. Our aim is for our Diamond Sponsor partnership with NZIS to not only help members to make more money, but to grow the outlook of surveying and spatial professionals across New Zealand.”

Hadyn Smith, NZIS CEO is thrilled with this exciting new commercial partnership and welcomes the addition of a new set of business skills for the benefit of NZIS members.

“The marketing and sales training services that THE Marketing Company complements our existing business offerings to members” says Hadyn, “I think all of those that were exposed to THE Marketing Company at the conference will appreciate the value of investing some time into this area of business.”
