Brisbane GIS Day

This Wednesday November 19 marks International GIS Day 2014, and to mark the occasion, GIS People is hosting one of the largest, most exciting geospatial events of the year!

Hot on the heels of G20, the free Brisbane GIS Day 2014, is set to bring both Australian and international business and technology leaders to the Queensland capital.

The fantastic program full of high-profile speakers will be introduced by SIBA spatial chair Dr Tim Foresman and compèred by Brisbane City Council’s chief digital officer Cat Matson.

Over 30 exhibitors are showcasing a huge variety of advanced spatial technologies, including Google Glass, 3D printing, WorldView-3 satellite imagery, UAVs and much more. And with loads of competitions to enter and free prizes to be won, this is an event not to be missed.
