5th Int’l Earth from Space Conference to be broadcast online

Events from the 5th International Conference ‘Earth From Space – the most effective solutions’ will be broadcast online, giving interested people from across the world the chance to watch the presentations.

The conference focuses on the practices, problems and perspectives of remote sensing industry development. Issues to be discussed include: satellite imagery as a tool of an efficient modernisation of the Russian economy; tasks and objectives of state policy in space imagery industry; problems and perspectives of building satellites in the 21st century; public-private partnership in the industry: national and foreign experience; a unified supplier of satellite imagery data for government authorities – pros and cons; a geospatial component for the system of e-government; synergy of military and civil technologies of space imagery; and many more.
 
The conference will run from 29 November to 1 December at the Moscow Region Vatutinki recreation centre of the Russian President Administration, with a Web&GIS mini-conference occurring on 2 December, and the ScanEx official user conference running on 28 November.
