After receiving a number or requests to extend the early bird registrations to allow for the end of the financial year, the organising committee for the 4th Digital Earth Summit has extended the early bird registration period to Friday, 29 June 2012.

In addition to the early bird registrations, the committee has also extended the Call for Papers to Friday, 29 June.

This September, Land Information New Zealand and Wellington City Council will host one of the year's most significant spatial events in Australia and New Zealand.

The 4th Digital Earth Summit 2012 will bring over 400 scientists, engineers, educators, entrepreneurs, managers, administrators and students from around the world, who use the power of collaboration in order to address challenges to human society.

The theme this year is "Digital Earth and Technology" with a focus on building resilient and sustainable urban environments.

The committee is also looking for sponsors for the event. If you are interested in sponsoring, please contact Dene Lynch.
