With a vision to harness the world's data and information resources through international cooperation, the ISDE aims to establish a digital replication of our planet which will allow us to monitor, measure, and forecast natural and human activity on the planet.

Wellington is the perfect place to host the Summit: our world-class scientists and technologists, our beautiful ecological and cultural locations and unique geography, and our highly successful advanced digital and technology industry base offer us the opportunity to host an event that surpasses any previous ones in its ability to bring international and national experts together – this will be an event to be remembered.
