Undet promises swifter workflows for Revit users

By on 18 March, 2020

The Undet for Revit 2020 plugin promises workflow efficiency for working with point clouds in Revit by cutting out rendering of RCP files.

The creators of Undet have launched a new set of surface analysis tools for Revit 2020.

The Undet series of tools work by generating dynamic views from a proprietary database rather than loading processor-intensive RCP files, for a claimed dramatic improvement in speed when working with point clouds.

Dynamic views can be generated according to two criteria: ‘screen area’ by window extent and ‘defined area’ by rectangle, offering greater control over views than in the standard functionality.

The 2020 update of the Undet plugin also contains new features including accuracy checks, quality checks on groups of surface elements, sharing tools and accuracy analysis on outsourced 3D models.
