Trimble introduces new radio modem

Trimble has introduced the TDL 450H radio, a long-range radio modem designed to support high-precision Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) surveying applications.
 
The radio modem features adjustable output power – from 2-35W – allowing the user to find the best balance between output power and battery life.
 
The new radio model forms part of the TDL 450 radio modem series.
 
The Trimble TDL 450 series is available in two frequency bands to cover the entire commercial UHF band without sacrificing radio performance. It also allows the user to select from either 12.5 or 25 kHz channel bandwidth.
 
This radio comes with a new protocol offering 9600 bps in a 12.5 kHz channel, without loss of range.
 
The Trimble TDL 450 series has full metal construction, providing impact and weather resistance, and provides access to diagnostic data in the field, allowing surveyors to solve signal strength problems.
 
The TDL 450H is available now.
