Topcon Positioning Systems has announced a significant expansion of its Topnet Live reference station network, which includes 200 new geodetic stations positioned across the US.

Topnet Live is a global NTRIP correction and GNSS data provision service that serves markets in the Americas, Europe and the Asia Pacific, including Australia.

The company says the network upgrade expands the availability of advanced centimetre-level accuracy for industry sectors such as engineering, surveying, construction and agriculture.

According to Topcon, the system supports not only those traditional sectors, but also new applications such as automated turf management, precision line marking, imaging systems, and UAV mapping and delivery operations.

“This unprecedented network expansion represents our commitment to providing cutting-edge geospatial solutions for all industries,” said Jason Killpack, director of business development for Topcon Emerging Business.

“Our services are empowering users in a multitude of market segments through comprehensive, network-modelled solutions that address a broad range of professional requirements.”
