This event will bring together people who are working in the remote sensing and earth observation fields to hear how some professionals in NSW are using earth observation data for their applications, as well as some of the latest developments in processing of earth observation data. It brings together members of SSSI RS&P Commission and IEEE-GRSS. Collaboration between the two groups should ensure better communications as well as opportunities to learn from each other.
Six presentations will be made on a range of topics on the processing and derivation of information from earth observation data derived from satellite and aircraft. Time will be available for discussions and networking.
Professionals using earth observation data in their employment who wish to learn more about potential applications of earth observation data, and students who are studying remote sensing or using earth observation data for their research work.
