Sinclair Knight Merz appoints new regional manager for WA & NT

Strategic consulting, design and project delivery firm Sinclair Knight Merz (SKM) has appointed Richard Hayers as Regional Manager, Western Australia/Northern Territory.
 
A civil engineer with over 20 years’ experience in management, design and construction of water infrastructure projects, Richard joined SKM in 1996 in Auckland, New Zealand, after emigrating from the United Kingdom.
 
In New Zealand, Richard was involved in numerous water/wastewater projects and was SKM’s Water and Environment Operations Centre Manager from 2006 to 2009.
 
In late 2009, he was appointed Water and Environment Operation Centre Manager, Western Australia, and relocated to Perth.
 
Richard will continue his work on a range of high-profile projects and panel contracts, including being SKM’s Contract Manager for the new four-year Chevron Environmental Panel and SKM’s Contract Sponsor for the current five-year Woodside Consolidated Environmental Services Contract. 
 
There are about 1200 employees across the Western Australia/Northern Territory region, delivering strategic consulting, design and delivery services across the Buildings and Infrastructure, Mining and Metals, Power and Energy and Water and Environment sectors.
