The Queensland Spatial and Surveying Association (QSSA) has announced that it is now a member of the Queensland Spatial Information Council (QSIC) and Destination Spatial Queensland. QSSA will be providing assistance to project owners and problem solvers who promote how the spatial industry generates significant financial support to industry.

QSSA will be supporting Destination Spatial and similar education and career marketing programs to encourage a skilled workforce for the future of Queensland. They will also be offering a broad range of prizes and scholarships to a variety of educational institutes across the whole state.

“The QSSA is a dynamic and innovative organisation with a clear direction of supporting members involved in the spatial industry and the wider spatial community” said Chris McAlister, President of the QSSA. “A core focus for the QSSA is collaboration, whether it be intrastate, interstate or internationally and at all-times indiscriminate.”
