To coincide with World GIS Day today, the company behind the Australian-built GIS platform Pozi has announced a revamp of the web-based Pozi Community.
“GIS Day celebrates the technology that touch our lives every day, helping us make more informed decisions,” said Matt Robinson, Director at Chartis Technology, Pozi’s development and support partner.
“This launch reflects our shared belief that GIS should be accessible, intuitive and built to empower local decision-making”.
According to Robinson, the platform is now used by more than 65 councils across Australia to simplify data access, improve collaboration and support map-based decision-making.
The online Pozi Community is where users can access updates, tips and peer discussions, and is designed to better connect with the growing user base across Australia.
“Pozi is growing fast across Australia, especially in new regions like Western Australia and New South Wales,” said Chris Scott, General Manager at MNG, a reseller partner.
“The new website and community spaces make it easier than ever for users to collaborate and share knowledge.”
