Meikle takes reins as LINZ acting Chief Executive

Toitū Te Whenua Land Information New Zealand (LINZ) has a new acting Te Tumu Whakarae/Chief Executive, Adrienne Meikle.

Meikle will serve as acting Chief Executive from 8 May 2023 until February 2024, when Chief Executive Gaye Searancke returns from a secondment to Te Kawa Mataaho (Public Service Commission).

Meikle joins LINZ from the Commerce Commission where she has held the role of Chief Executive since May 2018.

Meikle has extensive experience across New Zealand’s public sector, having held a number of senior roles including Deputy Chief Executive, Corporate, Governance and Information group at the Ministry of Business and Employment.
