Mapping Crime In San Francisco

By on 28 June, 2010

Bloggers have created a series of 3D maps that show the crime rate in San Francisco as peaks in the landscape.

The smaps help locals to get a picture of the crime rate in their area for a number of offences including narcotics, prostitution, assault, vehicle theft and robbery.

The information was taken from the City’s DataSF.org web site which aims to help citizens get better access to public data.
