Expressions of interest are now open for the LOCATE26 Program Committee.

Organisers of the LOCATE26 conference are calling for expressions of interest from industry professionals who would like to join the official Program Committee.

LOCATE26 will be held in conjunction with the 10th Digital Earth Summit, from 24 to 26 November at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre.

The two events will encompass content from the geospatial, digital Earth, surveying, remote sensing, digital twin and spatial data infrastructure sectors, and other related fields.

Program Committee members will be tasked with contributing to the development of a high-quality, balanced and future-focused conference program.

They’ll also be involved with shaping the concurrent program streams and reviewing submitted abstracts.

Conference organisers are also calling for feedback from the entire Australian geospatial community, with regards to sharing ideas and concepts for conference content.

They want suggestions for which topics matter the most to the Australian geospatial community, and which technologies, challenges or innovations should be featured in the program.

With the call for abstracts expected to be issued in April, organisers are asking people to put their thinking caps on now and begin preparing for submitting their contributions.

And the recently released sponsorship and exhibition prospectus has all the details needed for businesses and other organisations to make the most of the opportunity to reach 1,000-plus people.
