AIMS 2015 call for abstracts closes soon

AIMS 2015

The 2015 AIMS Conference Organising Committee is inviting submissions of abstracts of papers for presentation at the 2015 AIMS Conference, to be held in Perth on 12-14 August.

Abstracts should be a maximum of 300 words and need to be submitted by the 1st May 2015.

Conference topics include but are not limited to:

  • Emergency Response
  • Mine Subsidence
  • Open Cut Coal
  • Underground Coal
  • Open Cut Metal
  • Surface Mining/Quarrying
  • Underground Metal
  • Education/Research
  • GNSS
  • Laser Scanning
  • UAV Application
  • Tunnelling
  • Highwall Monitoring/Dam Deformation Monitoring
  • Remote Sensing
  • Major Surveying Project (non mining)
  • Defence Surveying
  • Industrial Measurement
  • Resource Recovery & Reconciliation
  • Professional Standards
  • Environment and Mining Approval

Abstracts will be assigned to the most appropriate conference session based on the subject matter of the presentation.

Abstract Submission Instructions

Abstracts and papers must be submitted in a word document by e-mail. The abstract shall include: Title; Author/s and affiliation/Company; Email address; and Abstract (no more than 300 words).

Presenters will receive notification by email of the status of their paper by the 1st June 2015.
