How to survey through or to a wire fence

By on 18 September, 2012
To be able to survey to or through complex surfaces such as wire fencing, you need a total station with a very narrow beam.

Industry-leading EDM
Topcon’s new PS robotic series features all-new EDM technology with the smallest beam width on the market and a range of 1 kilometre reflectorless and an incredible 6 kilometres to the prism!

Topcon’s advanced algorithm reduces the noise associated with other reflectorless instruments to provide accurate results even on wet or dark surfaces. Plus with 0.9-second measurements in fine mode, it is one of the fastest EDMs in its class.

Precision Prism Tracking
This high performance robotic also incorporates Topcon’s patented PowerTrac™ engine, which employs all-new optics, laser system and further advanced algorithms to keep tracking a moving prism even in the toughest environmental conditions.

Topcon patented technology
Topcon’s new LongLink™ communication system enables you to measure from the pole at distances up to 600 metres without the use of radios! Control the PS from the prism pole using the RC-5 remote system, field controller or new Topcon Tesla tablet.
