Hot on the heels of December’s release of v4.0.0 of the Ginan toolkit, the Ginan team has released the v4.1.0 update.
Highlights of the new release include the introduction of SouthPAN SBAS capabilities into Ginan.
Specifically, users have the choice of running L1 SBAS, DFMC (dual-frequency multi-constellation) and PVS (Precise Point Positioning Via SouthPAN).
Also included are SBF (Septentrio) input, and sanity check configurations for SBAS, DFMC and PVS.
There have also been additions made to the graphical user interface, namely:
- A ‘Constellations’ configuration tab for managing code priorities for the selected PPP provider/series/project;
- Support for downloading products from the REPRO3 directory for older RINEX files;
- Detection of supported code priorities for PPP products using the corresponding .BIA file; and
- Verification of PPP product constellations using the corresponding .SP3 file.
Ginan v4.1.0 is available via the Geoscience Australia GitHub.
The Ginan service and toolkit provides a GNSS position correction system that can result in centimetre-level positioning accuracy. It is funded through Geoscience Australia’s Positioning Australia program.
