Submissions for the GeoNext Startup Showcase will close today, 14th February, with the judging panel announcing the five finalists on 21 February.
If you or someone you know is launching a new location-based product or company, then the Startup Showcase at the GeoNext conference to be held in Sydney this month could provide the exposure you need to make it big.
Highlighting the startup ecosystem’s creativity and variety, the Showcase gives you a chance to get in front of potential users and high-profile investors.
The five finalists will be given free entry to the conference, and 5 minutes each to pitch their startup to the judging panel and the audience attending the afternoon session. Both the judges and the audience will vote for their favourite startup, with prizes awarded for the winner, as well as the audience favourite.
GeoNext is a brand new event, aimed at all practitioners of location-based technology. The audience will comprise experts from the fields of GIS, mapping, mobility, software development and business – anyone with an interest in the next evolution of geo and the opportunities it brings.
Join the conversation with leading developers, businesses and entrepreneurs, and learn about the future of location technology, how to monetise location and see the latest location start-ups.
The inaugural GeoNext conference will be held on the 29 February at the Australian Technology Park in Sydney, Australia.
