The next GeoRabble Sydney will be on Thursday 10th August, and we want to hear your thoughts on the future of technology as it relates to our industry.

What will be the impact of low-cost drones, or the Internet of Things, or blockchain?

We’re looking for speakers who can deliver an interesting presentation about the future of “geo”, following the simple GeoRabble structure:

  1. Celebrate each others’ triumphs
  2. Respect each others’ choice – no technology bigotry
  3. No sales pitches – this includes services, software, data etc.
  4. No company logos or ‘about us’ slides
  5. Keep it short – 10 minutes per talk

So if you have an idea for a presentation, please send a title and short description to sydney@georabble.org.

Details of the event:

  • Thursday 10th August 2017 from 6 PM
  • Occidental Hotel, 43 York St Sydney

Attendance is free, as always – we’ll be in touch with further details soon. Please get in touch if you’re interested in sponsoring our community-run event.
