eSpatial recently announced the launch of a free edition of its flagship mapping software, also called eSpatial.

eSpatial mapping software lets users convert spreadsheet data into map form, with just a few clicks, helping users gain insights into market trends and challenges.

The new, free edition of eSpatial requires users to sign up for an account at the spatial website. Once logged on, users can create maps from their existing data and then post them on websites as interactive maps.

Launching the free edition of eSpatial, company CEO Philip O’Doherty said that he hoped this availability of the product would increase awareness of the potential impact of sales mapping software.

“I think this is a bold move and one that shows us to be an innovator in the mapping market,” he said. “We hope that the free edition of our product will encourage businesses and organisations to think differently about their data, and how they can use it to achieve new or continued success.”

Paid editions (including Basic, Pro and Team) of the application work on a yearly subscription model, and offer increased functionality, including the ability to handle more data, as well as reporting and sharing options.
