“James brings a fresh perspective, strong strategic capability and a deep understanding of how to elevate the profile and priorities of a profession,” said CSV President, Michael Degg.
“We are excited to have him lead the next stage of CSV’s growth and influence.”
Fitzpatrick’s remit at CSV will be to:
- Strengthen member engagement and value;
- Advance advocacy on behalf of the surveying profession;
- Enhance relationships with government, regulators and industry;
- Support workforce capability and professional development; and
- Build a strong and future‑ready operational foundation.
“Surveying is vital to Victoria’s economic development, land management and digital transformation,” said Fitzpatrick.
“I’m looking forward to working closely with the President, Board, committees and members to strengthen CSV’s voice and create a future-focused organisation with real impact.”
