Australian Online vehicle tracking company Ezy2c has completed the acquisition of OmniTRACK from OmniSTAR.

OmniTRACK is a web-based system that allows businesses to monitor and track both fixed and mobile assets around the clock.

Ezy2C uses GPS technology to track over 4000 vehicles across Australia for clients in the transport, mining, utilities, government, manufacturing, distribution, waste, forestry and construction sectors.

Such GPS monitoring solutions are now standard for many big firms with large vehicle fleets.

Ezy2c chief executive Evan Penn said the acquisition will introduce more products and expertise to the business.

“OmniSTAR has been leading the way in satellite tracking in Australia for many years with specialised solutions for marine, aero, mining and transport,” he said.

“With an enviable blue-chip client base including many global, household name companies and a strong footprint in the mining sector, OmniTRACK gives us the capacity to service this robust sector of the economy.”
