This month in the second instalment of our BIM webinars, we will be hearing from Professor Sisi Zlatanova of UNSW Built Environment about 3D mapping of the real world, the growing number of applications that require 3D representations of buildings and their surroundings, and how by modelling what is happening indoors, in our public buildings, in our offices, hospitals and schools, we can work on myriad ways to make our environment more pleasant, more secure and more sustainable.
Professor Zlatanova will be looking at how BIM intersects with and impacts the built environment, urban planning and related fields.

Advancements in Reality Modelling Event (Brisbane)
Reality modelling continues to play a key role across various industries in providing real-world digital context in the form of “reality meshes” for engineering, construction, asset inspection and other workflows.
Join our reality modelling experts for a scrumptious breakfast and lunch as we explore the top reality modelling trends of 2019 and how to apply these trends to your workflows. Hear from our users as they share details of their projects where they have utilised reality modelling in interesting and innovative ways.
In this event, you will learn about:
- The latest reality modelling trends in 2019
- The latest release of ContextCapture and product roadmap
- Integrating reality data with CAD, GIS, and Web Services
- Innovative projects from users leveraging reality modelling.
Got a technical reality modelling question? Following the presentations, Bentley consultant, Marc Rietman, will run a 2 hour technical workshop for those who would like go in depth into our reality modelling solutions.
Come discover how reality modelling is making infrastructure and city-scale digital twins a reality.
All events will run on the following times:
8:00am – 8:30am – Registration
8:30am – 1:00pm – Event
Breakfast, morning tea and a buffet lunch will be provided. If you have any special dietary requirements you would like us to take note of, please email Udara.Ratnakumara@bentley.com with the details after you have registered.

The processing of large projects (e.g. 20,000 images @ 250 megapixels) presents huge challenges to the mapping industry. This training session will discuss how to implement an optimal workflow with Correlator3D, using the proper level of automation and hardware resources.
Specifically, attendees will learn about practical solutions for
different real-world scenarios:
1) Multi-mission projects
2) Large format camera project
3) Continuous stream of projects
4) Single project with multiple discontinuous areas
