Join us at this breakfast and learn as we take a look at how Bentley continues to break down barriers and streamline multidisciplinary design with its recently launched OpenBuildings Station Designer CONNECT Edition. OpenBuildings Station Designer supports the design, analysis, visualisation and simulation of new or existing rail, metro or other transit stations with asset-specific content and workflows.
With the incorporation of industry leading simulation software LEGION, within OpenBuildings Station Designer, designers can model and simulate pedestrian scenarios and thereby support improving functional use of space, wayfinding strategies, and passenger experience and throughput. LEGION can be applied to sport stadiums, airports, shopping malls, and virtually and other place where people converge.
Furthermore, keeping in line with Bentley’s Open modelling environment, OpenBuildings Station Designer enables iterative digital workflows spanning Bentley’s Connected Data Environments.
All this makes OpenBuildings Station Designer a powerful solution to consider for your next project. Reserve your seat today.
In this event, you will learn about:
- Key industry trends and how you can leverage them
- Key capabilities of OpenBuildings Station Designer and how it can be applied to various building projects
- Pedestrian modelling and simulation using LEGION
- Working with other disciplines and leveraging Bentley’s open connected data environment.

The FARO 3D Technology Seminar is series of seminars that is a spin-off from the FARO 3D User Conference, the latter being a leading event for the B2B 3D laser scanning community in Asia Pacific. In 2019, following the FARO 3D User Conference to be held in China in July, FARO is also hosting these Technology Seminars in Australia, India, and Japan.
As digital technologies have become all-pervasive, companies have been exploring ways to realize the potential of digitization globally. The geospatial community is not new to digitization, and similarly, it has been driven to evaluate the effectiveness of maximizing the efficiencies of digitization.
Responding to the industry’s needs, the upcoming FARO 3D Technology Seminars will be centred around the theme of ‘Constructing a Digital Future’, where the community will come together to look at further integrating digitization into its workflows.
In the same vein, FARO is also looking to bridge the physical and digital divide, by creating greater efficiencies in the construction lifecycle of ‘Design, Build, and Operate’. The FARO Traceable Construction™ concept is an ecosystem of FARO products and solutions that enable AEC professionals to work within an informed construction lifecycle environment. Offering a seamless transition across stages where reality data is needed, Traceable Construction™ matches each need with a product from FARO’s suite of solutions.
The FARO 3D Technology Seminar is yet another avenue where FARO strives to share expertise, applications and know-how with the geospatial community, and to create networking as well as business opportunities for delegates attending. Delegates can look forward to gaining deeper insight on FARO solutions through presentations and demonstrations by our technical experts. FARO looks forward to facilitating the development of valuable business relationships and connecting 3D communities!
