SSSI opens search for new CEO

By on 24 January, 2018

The Surveying & Spatial Sciences Institute has put the call out for a new CEO/GM, enlisting an outside consultant to help fill the group’s leadership role after a four-month vacancy.

The process is being managed for SSSI by Adelaide firm Sullivan Consulting, which has set the deadline for applications as Australia Day.

SSSI President Gabriel Van Wyk says his group is looking forward to welcoming a placement by the end of March 2018. That would put the group in a position to introduce the new CEO at Locate ’18, the major geospatial and surveying conference co-sponsored by SSSI and being held in April in Adelaide this year.

Former General Manager Chris Malouf resigned in August of last year, and operations have been handled by a caretaker CEO for much of the time since then.

Applicants can find more information via the listing here, or by calling Andrew Sullivan or Sheridan Calverley on 0417 859 004.
