Entries open for the APSEA 2015 awards

The Spatial Industry Business Association (SIBA) has officially opened nominations for the annual Asia Pacific Spatial Excellence Awards (APSEA). There are eleven award categories that will be open across nine regions. Online entries are invited for both industry and individuals through the new APSEA website.

Categories include:

  • Award for Environment and Sustainability
  • Award for Export
  • Award for Innovation and Commercialisation
  • Award for People and Community Award for Spatial Enablement
  • Award for Technical Excellence
  • Education Development Award
  • Postgraduate Student Award
  • Professional of the Year Award
  • Special Achievement Award
  • Undergraduate Student Award
  • Young Professional of the Year Award

There are different closing dates for each of the regions, as detailed below:

South Australia: entries close 17 July 2015, Winners announced 14 August 2015

ACT: entries close 17 July 2015, Winners announced 14 August 2015

Victoria: entries close 24 July 2015, Winners announced 3 September 2015

WA: entries close 21 August 2015, Winners announced 17 September 2015

TAS: entries close 7 August 2015, Winners announced 5 September 2015

QLD: entries close 17 August 2015, Winners announced 12 September 2015

NT: entries close 5 August 2015, Winners announced 9 September 2015

NZ: entries close 7 August 2015, Winners announced 19 November 2015 (click here to enter the NZ Awards)

NSW: entries close 24 September 2015, Winners Announced 22 October 2015

Pacific Islands: entries close 2 October 2015, Winners announced at the SPC Conference scheduled for November in Fiji
