Esri Australia's Directions 2014

From New South Wales’ Save Our Species program, to how one of the world’s major insurance advisors assesses risk, Directions 2014 will lift the lid on some of Australia’s most compelling applications of GIS technology when it tours the country from next month.

Esri Australia’s free technology roadshow has become an iconic event for the spatial sector – with last year’s seminars attracting more than 1,400 GIS professionals from around the country.

This year, in addition to user case studies, the event will also provide attendees with a front-row seat to some of the world’s biggest advancements in GIS technology.

With the theme of ‘Sharpen your GIS skills’, Directions will teach attendees how to work with new data sources, including real-time, mobile, and 3D. Guests will also acquire tips for collating, managing, and sharing information using the ArcGIS platform, as well as hear about Esri’s technology roadmap for the future.

The seminars kick off in Darwin on 25 March, before touring to Townsville, Perth, Adelaide, Canberra, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and finally Hobart.

The event is open exclusively to Esri technology users. To register, visit the Esri Australia Directions 2014 website.

Locations to the events are available through this ArGIS online webmap.
