Faro launches enterprise edition of Webshare suite

By on 24 November, 2020

Faro has launched an enterprise edition of its Webshare 3D data platform.

The firm says that the new offering allows companies to deploy the platform on its own servers and cloud infrastructure, enabling full control of the privacy of the data therein.

Webshare is Faro’s cloud platform for 3D reality data, offering ‘Scan-to-BIM’ workflows and digital twin integration tools for applications in the AEC industry.

Seeking to advance in this space, Faro acquired Advanced Technical Solutions in Scandinavia AB (ATS) in August, with a view to integrating ATS’ tools and ‘Traceable 3D’ functionality into its Webshare suite.

‘WebShare Enterprise marks another important step in driving industry applications that can leverage Digital Twin technology,” said Vito Marone, senior director of software product marketing at Faro.

“On the heels of our recent acquisition of ATS, we will continue to introduce solutions that enable customers to save time and money and improve project efficiency and reliability.”
