Geospatial solutions provider Position Partners has announced an exclusive agreement with Denmark-based TinyMobileRobots to be the exclusive distributor of the Tiny Surveyor robotic pre-marker tool throughout Australia and New Zealand.

The Tiny Surveyor is a robotic pre-marker tool that its makers say saves time, increases safety and enables the user to mark out road lines automatically. The unit can interface to any GNSS  receiver as well as Topcon and Sokkia total stations for precise height measurements.

Position Partners says the Tiny Surveyor is able to work autonomously, users only need to upload the design file via USB, set the Tiny Surveyor on its way until a light blinks blue when the job has been completed.

The machine also comes with a full-function, long range remote control panel, enabling the user to stay in control, along with a high weatherproof rating that helps ensure the Tiny Surveyor can work in tough environments.

“The Tiny Surveyor is a unique piece of equipment,” said Martin Nix, Position Partners CEO. “This exciting, new fully autonomous robotic pre-marker tool both increases safety and makes marking significantly faster than marking out on foot.”
