Western Australian Survey Conference runs next week

The Western Australian Survey Conference will run next week, in Perth, on Thursday 16 May, with the motto “Surveying: Past, Present, Future”.

Confirmed speakers include:

  • Dr Julian Bolleter – “Made in Australia – The Future of Australian Cities”
  • Bert Veenendaal – “Spatial Science Education in WA: Past, Present, Future”
  • Dave Thomas – “Metro Area Express (MAX) Light Rail Project”
  • Opening Address by The Hon. Liza Harvey, MLA Minister for Police, Road Safety, Small Business and Women’s Interests

There will also be a host of workshops and other interesting talks that will deal with some of the biggest issues in surveying today, as well as practical examples from some interesting, real-world projects.
