Surveying event: from Bathurst to Beyond in 200 years

Bathurst

The Central Western Group of ISNSW is running a seminar on 7-8 May 2015 to coincide with the Bicentenary of Australia’s First Inland Settlement, Bathurst.

Surveyors continue to be integral to the development of our regional communities. Since George Evans investigated a route over the Blue Mountains in 1814, surveyors have contributed to the development of agriculture, transport, mining, and our communities.

As such, the event – entitled Central West Surveying: from Bathurst to Beyond in 200 years – will recognise the contribution and achievements of past and present surveyors in the development of Bathurst and the Central West. BOSSI and the ISNSW Board will be in attendance.

As a special offer, SSSI members can attend the event on members’ rates.
