The SSSC 2013 Conference Program is a balance of technical and practical solutions that will provide delegates with a tool kit of new knowledge. The exhibition will run from the 15th to 19th April 2013 at the Canberra Convention Centre.

The organising committee recently announced that Tuesday 16 April will be an Expo open day, where the Exhibition will be open to the public.  Our partners will be inviting their potential clients to visit, and it will provide the opportunity for users to have a good look at what is “in the lab”.

The theme for the conference is “Collect, Connect, Capitalise”, and it aims to provide you with opportunities to “Collect” the profession and the industry’s latest happenings; “Connect” with the who’s who of the Australian and international Surveying & Spatial scenes; as well as “Capitalise” on being among many of our Industry’s leading professionals.

Around 800 delegates from every State and Territory, New Zealand and a number of other countries are expected to be in attendance.

2013 is the Centenary of Canberra, Australia’s National Capital, so the conference will be a key part of year-long celebrations, and therefore will have a greater spotlight on it. This will be particularly so when one of the Centenary highlights, the “Big Issues, Big Talk” speaker series will take place during our Conference and will be open to the public – an extra unique opportunity to showcase our industry’s technology to a broader audience.
