Zero Latency CEO Tim Ruse will present at SIBA Breakfast @ Locate16.

 

High-level speakers have been announced for the SIBA Breakfast @ Locate16 event taking place 13 April 2016 in Melbourne as part of the Locate Conference.

A ministerial presentation by The Hon. Philip Dalidakis MP, Victorian Minister for Small Business, Innovation & Trade will address SIBA members and the broader spatial industry.

Following this, Tim Ruse, CEO of Zero Latency, will discuss how his business transformed from a conceptual idea to an internationally recognised Virtual Reality (VR) company by constantly innovating and crushing the boundaries. Have your eyes opened up to the state of tech the industry in Australia at SIBA Breakfast @ Locate16.

About Locate16

The Locate Conference is the national surveying event of the year taking place 12-14 April 2016. Now in its 3rd year, Locate16 will be hosted in Melbourne by the Surveying and Spatial Sciences Institute (SSSI), Spatial Industries Business Association (SIBA) and Geospatial Information and Technology Association (GITA). Locate16 is open to all industries and welcomes the ongoing discussion of how technology developed within the spatial and surveying communities can be used to improve the way we work, live and play in smarter societies.

Speakers include award-winning RPAS innovator Dr Catherine Ball, Tomnod co-founder Luke Barrington, Assistant Minister for Cities and Digital Transformation, Angus Taylor MP, and the Principal Advisor, Public Data Policy at the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet, Helen Owens.

The Conference program will also feature four streams focusing on how the spatial and surveying industries are essential to our prosperity, protection, sustainability and ability to grow (build).

Registrations are still open for the Locate16 Conference, taking place 12-14 April at the Melbourne Convention Centre.
