Delegates can also purchase tickets to the Asia-Pacific Spatial Excellence Awards (APSEA) Dinner at a discounted rate of $140 per ticket. Locate14 Conference and Exhibition replaces three previous national events – the spatial@gov Conference, the Surveying & Spatial Sciences Conference (SSSC) and the Asia- Pacific Spatial Excellence Awards (APSEA) – combining to form a single premier Australian and New Zealand spatial industry event that is the central meeting point of industry leaders, government, and academia in one of the fastest growing industries in Australia.

As a reminder, the call for abstracts is also open with the following topics/themes:

  • Locating the Digital Economy
  • Innovative Technologies
  • Spatial (Smart) Cities
  • National Security
  • Think Spatially (Spatial for a Non-Spatial World)
  • The Changing Landscape of Surveying

Abstracts can be submitted before Friday 31 January 2014 via the Locate14 website.

The Australasian Spatial Information and Education Research Association (ASIERA) are also managing a peer reviewed, academic stream and submissions for these must be lodged directly with ASIERA.

Locate14 will be held at the National Convention Centre in Canberra from 7-9 April 2014.
