New CEO for AAM

AAM CEO Mark Freeburn

Geospatial services company AAM has announced the appointment of a new CEO, Mark Freeburn.

Mark’s appointment commenced on 1 October 2014 following a decade as AAM’s Head of Information Systems then Chief Operating Officer.

Mark has had significant involvement on large international projects providing the understanding and passion to execute successful outcomes in often complex environments. This valuable experience will be used to guide AAM as it pursues global business in 2015 and beyond.

Outgoing CEO, Scott Ramage has led the organisation since 2006, overseeing many major technological advancements and Mergers and Acquisitions.

“As AAM continues to expand its geographic reach beyond Australia, we are seeing many exciting international opportunities emerge,” said Mr Ramage. “During 2014, AAM has worked in PNG, New Zealand and Pacific Island nations, Singapore, Malaysia, India, the UAE and several African states.

“Mark’s passion for focusing on customer outcomes and broad industry experience makes him the ideal individual, along with an expanded senior management team, to lead AAM through this exciting time.”
